 Sensei Nobuaki Kanaza
Sensei Nobuaki Kanazawa, 6th Dan was born in 1972. He is the eldest son
of Hirokazu Kanazawa, 10th Dan, Kancho (President) of the Shotokan
Karate-do International Federation. He took up karate seriously when he
became a student at Taisho University, Tokyo, under the tuition of
Sensei Iida, a famous instructor of the Japan Karate Association. Sensei
Kanazawa was the SKI World Champion in 2000, SKI All Japan Champion from
1996-02000, Japan National Champion in 2004, Metropolitan Champion three
times, and JFK Champion 6 times. He is the Kancho (President) Designate
of the Shotokan Karate-do International Federation. He visits our dojo
regularly to instruct and to grade students, sometimes on his own,
sometimes in company with his father.
