| Monday, 08 February 2010 | |
|
Please note that as well as the open course on Saturday 8th May there will be a course for SKIF 3rd kyu and above only, in the evening of Friday 7th May in Peterhead, which will start 6pm to 7.30 pm training, followed by grading till 9.30 (Grading will be allowed only if permission has been given in advance). On Sunday 9th May, at Peterhead, there will be closed courses for members of the SKKIF starting with mon grades (children with white belts with stripes), at 10am–11am followed by a course 11am–12 noon for dan grades only, then a break for lunch 12 noon–1pm, followed by training for all grades of adults, 1pm–2pm, and concluding with a grading for kyu grades. Charges for SKKIF members attending training on both Saturday 8th May, and Sunday 9th May will be £40.00 for adults, £35.00 for juniors, and £15.00 for attendance of the closed course for 3rd Kyu and higher, and £15.00 for the mon grade course on Sunday. We believe that the above information is now definitive, but it would be advisable to check the site from time to time in case there are unavoidable alterations to the timetable. We have been informed that this will be Kancho Kanazawa's final visit to Scotland, the last chance to be instructed by a karateka who is one of the world's greatest martial artists.
